Coronavirus

The health and safety of our camping community is our highest priority. As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread throughout the country, we will closely monitor guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials. We will continue to rely on their recommendations and expertise to inform our decisions.

As a result, we are:

  • Increasing the frequency and rigor of cleaning and sanitization at our property in addition to adding resources like hand sanitizer throughout the camp-resort for guests and employees.
  • Ensuring our employees have the information they need to stay healthy and stay home if they aren’t feeling well.

According to the CDC, there is NO EVIDENCE that the COVID-19 virus can spread to humans through use of properly disinfected pools and spas.

The CDC has released this official statement regarding COVID-19 transmission in pools and spas:

“There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs [spas] should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”

Rest assured that we will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you informed of anything you need to know as things evolve.
